FHV and FHC filter housings

Design

The filter housings are made of brushed stainless steel sheet and supplied with a counter flange for easy duct mounting. They are equipped with dampers and pressure taps for air flow adjustment.

The filter housing is equipped with a practical cover strip that ensures the filter closes tightly against the housing and prevents contaminated air from leaking. Grease and condensation are collected in a condensation container. Containers and filters are easily removed for cleaning in a dishwasher.

Different filters

The filters are available in sizes 500 x 250 and 500 x 500 mm. All filters have protective grilles and fold flat handles for easy handling during cleaning.

Wire mesh filter: The filter consists of an aluminium frame filled with knitted galvanised wire mesh that efficiently removes grease and condensation from the ventilation air. Type A is 50 mm and B is 25 mm thick.

Flame-retardant filter F: The filter’s lamellar prevent the spread of fire. It is made up of a frame and lamellar made of stainless steel sheet and a knitted layer of stainless steel mesh. The filter is 35 mm thick.

All filters have fold flat handles for convenient handling.

The counter flange is mounted on the exhaust duct and fitted to the filter housing.

Dimensions

Filter housing dimensions are shown in the figures and tables below. For easy mounting of the counter flange and filter housing, the external dimensions of the connecting duct must be A x B. As an alternative to the rectangular connection, the filter housing can be supplied with a circular sleeve.

Wire mesh filters are available in two sizes. A is 50 mm and B is 25 mm thick.

Flame-retardant filter F is available in two sizes with a thickness of 35 mm.

Air flow - Pressure drop - Noise level

Reported dB(A) values are for 10 m2 Sabine, which corresponds to a room attenuation of 4 dB.

Example: One FHV-5025-3-A filter housing contains three 500 x 250 mm A wire mesh filters. Recommended maximum exhaust air flow through the filter housing will then be 3 x 250 = 750 l/s
